Caleb also visited the doctor's office today for his one-year check-up. So, yes, we have updated stats:

-Weight: 25 lbs. 6 oz. (80th percentile) [+2 lbs. 1 oz.]
-Length: 29-3/4 in. (50th percentile) [+1/2 inch]
-Head Circ.: 18-3/4 in. (88th percentile) [no change]

Okay, so maybe he won't be our little linebacker . . . how about a fullback?

Another Special Anniversary

As the title to this post suggests (and in case you didn't know), April 9th marks another special day for our family. It was the the day (four years ago now) that Laura and I first met in person after being matched by eHarmony. On that day, we met near the information booth by the WWII Memorial, surrounded by the other two million (or so) people who had come down for the Cherry Blossom Festival. So, today, four years later, we returned to that spot with Caleb:

In which we recount the events of Caleb's first birthday:

Then, we (Caleb, Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, and Grandpa) went to Washington, DC; it was a beautiful day
