Caleb's First Camping Trip

As mentioned in this post, we went camping last weekend in western Maryland with Missy and Adney.

We had a great time enjoying the great outdoors. Here is a picture of our campsite:



We arrived late Saturday morning, and after setting up camp and having a quick lunch, we decided to hike around the lake on one of the trails there. After the first few minutes, though, it was time to feed Caleb, and "Aunt Missy" fed some fish:


A little farther along, we encountered this duck, who may just be molting, but he looks interesting anyway:


Man, we saw a lot of ducks. This is just one picture, there were many more ducks:


Mommy and Caleb take a breather, but don't be fooled by the pavement; that's the road. The trail was unpaved. So, kudos to Laura for lugging the "little" (18 pounds now!) guy around:


Oh, wait, it's Aunt Missy's turn:


Here's part of the trail. We had beautiful weather for our hike:


And Caleb had a great time:
